Welcome to the 2016-17 band year. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and give you the suggested band donation schedule for this year. We are Pamela Boronkay, Treasurer, and Deb Maier, Financial Secretary, of the Santa Teresa Music & Arts Association (STMAA).

In order to cover the expenses necessary to provide your student with an outstanding band experience, we have provided a suggested band donation schedule so that STMAA can pay staff, transportation and other fees in a timely manner. More details on how band donations are used will be given at the August Parent Meeting. Although band donations may be paid at any time before the due date, we have outlined the following suggested timeline:

Marching Band + Concert Band/Symphonic Band/Wind Ensemble      $850.00 (divided up into 3 donations)
$300 due in August
$300 due in September
$250 due in October

Color Guard   $900 (divided up into 3 donations)
$300 duein August
$300 due in September
$300 due in October

Concert Band/Symphonic Band/Wind Ensemble only (non-marching Band) $125.00 total due in November

Jazz I/II/III       $200.00 total due in January

Please keep in mind that if we do not have money in the STMAA account to cover student expenses, the program will need to be modified and your student will not have the full band experience. There are many opportunities to fundraise in order to pay band accounts; please check the web site and watch for emails from our fundraising coordinator for more information.

There are multiple ways to turn in your donation to the band program. You can drop a payment in the lock box in the band room, or you can mail it to STMAA, P.O. Box 23761, San Jose, CA, 95123.  To see your payments please visit your financial page on
