Student Fundraisers are fundraisers that students and families can participate in that will benefit the students band accounts directly. These funds can be applied to Ensemble donations, trip costs, band apparel orders, marching band shoes, or any other cost or donation.
Student account balances can be checked on the Charms website at any time.
Marching Band Donation – $850/Color Guard – $900
Marching Band is probably the most visible and expensive part of the STHS music program. It is a serious commitment of time, effort, and finances. Students start working on the program during summer break, spend two weeks at Band Camp and then dedicate 12-20 hours a week during school to practice, performance and competition.
Graduation Credit 5 units per season

6+ opportunities to perform at AAAA competition level
Transportation to and from competitions/performances
Meals at competition
Over night trip to WBA competition in Fresno, including hotel cost

Concert Bands Donation – $125
Concert Band, Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble are classes that meet during the school day. The donation from each of these students make competition at California Music Education Association Festivals possible.
The entrance fee, transportation to and from the competition, and purchase of music come out of these donations.
Jazz Bands Donation – $200
Jazz Band 1 is a class. Jazz Band 2 and 3 meet after school. Donations from these groups pay for instructors, competition fees, transportation to and from competitions and the purchase of music.
