New Students for Fall 2018

Welcome to Band!

This is the place to find information for new band students and all the incoming band freshmen. Presentations, flyers, and forms are all available below, along with contact information for Ms. Bounds.

The Introduction to Band meeting was held on April 12, 2018 @ 7pm in the Theater.

Contact Form:

All incoming freshmen are encouraged to fill out this online form so you can be added to the band email list and be kept up to date with current information:
Incoming Freshman Band Contact Form

Marching Band:

If you are interested in joining the Marching Band at STHS, in addition to checking “Marching Band” on the Incoming Freshman Band Contact Form, you should also fill out a Marching Band Registration Form. Spots in the Marching Band are limited, so register early.

Filling out the registration form does not require you to join marching band, but will keep you in the loop about upcoming events and auditions (required for color guard, drumline, and pit), as well as summer practice sessions.

Marching band camp is mandatory if you are going to be in marching band.  If you have any conflicts please contact Ms. Bounds.

Once school begins, marching band practices are on Monday and Thursday afternoons (after school), and most Saturdays.

Please see the  2018 Band Calendar  for the tentative Fall  2018 Schedule.

The final Marching Band Roster will be set at the end of Band Camp in August.

Summer Workshops & Clinics:

There will be summer practices for Color Guard and Marching Band Percussion.  Dates and times will be announced.

Incoming Band Freshmen Night:

As listed above, the Incoming Band Freshmen Night is April 12, 2018 @ 7pm in the theater.
