Friday March 3, 2017
The planning for our 6th Annual Music Marathon has started, and the committee is excited to put together this festive community event. In order to raise funds for our growing band program, our band students will be playing 16 hours of music straight, and we are holding a Battle of the Bands and Silent Auction, and will provide fun Games and yummy Food. The event will be open to the public from 3pm.
Next to the traditional Pledge Parties, we will start off the fundraising activities in December with a new kind of Pledge Party: Christmas Caroling!
(Don’t worry, no singing, just playing Christmas tunes.)
Parents can host a pledge party and take a group of band students through the neighborhood, spreading Xmas joy and raising money.
For more information and to sign up as parent host or student participant, go to https://stmaa.ivolunteer.com/#3
If you have a business or know someone with a business who might want to support us with a monetary donation or silent auction item, see our Music Marathon sponsorship letter by clicking on this link.
The students will be voting on a theme.
What will it be this year… ?
Stay tuned for more updates on the Music Marathon!!
We have a theme!
The students have voted and our ST band Music Marathon, to be held on Friday, March 3rd 2017, will evolve around the theme “ Flashback Friday”!
