Congratulations to the Marching Band !!
The marching band had an AWESOME weekend at the WBA Championships by winning 4th place overall for 1A/2A/3A and set a new school record best high score in WBA by at least 4 points at 3A Class Championships with an 87.1, only to break that record by more than a point the very next day at 1A/2A/3A Grand Championships with an 88.3.
The color guard won 1st place by getting the first ever Caption award at WBA Championships Weekend
Santa Teresa was also the Highest placing Northern California band at 3A Class Championships and 1A/2A/3A Grand Championships

The Marching Band received 1st place at their competition on November 5th at Independence High School.
On Saturday, October 22, 2016 they became a finalist at the Bands of America Championship Competition. This was the first time in program history (and potentially district history) that this happened.

The Marching Band also took 1st place in their first WBA competition at Chabot College
Veterans Day Parade – November 11, 2016

West Valley Jazz Festival – November 4th
The Jazz Band I and Jazz Combos participated in the West Valley Jazz Festival. You can see their performances on the Jazz Festival page.
Jr. Saints Night – October 21st
We invited Jr. High School band students to sit in with the pep band for the football game and it was a hue success. It was super fun for everyone!
Fleet Week Competition in San Francisco was on Monday, October 10th
The Marching Band took 2nd place and received $6000 for the band program.

*** Winner Poster Contest! ***
Congratulations to Cayley Nickerson (color guard/winter guard) for winning the Music Marathon Poster Contest! Her work will be used to attract people to the Music Marathon.
Michelle Duong and Valerie Pietrczak also sent in a fantastic poster design. Their artistic work will be used to add to the decorations around campus for the Music Marathon.

Charms has a new app!
It’s New. It’s Blue. The new Charms parent/student-side Mobile App is up, for both Android and Apple! Have your parents and students go to their particular App Store, and search for “Charms Blue” to download it. It has all the features they’re used to, but with simpler navigation.
